The ECI Risk Minder® is a quarterly publication produced by the Risk Management Committee with the Education Department. This publication presents information on specific clinical topics that have been shown through Quality Management audits or historical review of documents to present increased risks of liability to emergency department practitioners. The ECI Risk Minder® describes symptoms, treatment options, and recommendations for improved assessment, diagnosis, and care of high-risk patient populations.
Our physician and nurse educators are continually compiling and disseminating regulatory updates and initiatives from organizations and governmental bodies such as The Joint Commission, AOA, and CMS, all in an effort to assist our clients' staffs in keeping current with these complex topics.
