Apollo Information Services, Inc. (AISI) is ECI's wholly-owned coding and billing organization, responsible for the consistent and fully compliant billing of all emergency department or clinic physician encounters for ECI's affiliated limited liability partnerships.
Based in Fort Myers, Florida, AISI is supported by a team of certified coding professionals who are commited to staying abreast of the specialty's ever-changing challenges, including the capture and monitoring of key quality measures. Its communications and technology team manage a paperless tracking system that provides both superior customer service and the ability to provide key department and provider efficiency and productivity metrics. The Apollo Managed Care team works in partnership with hospitals to participate in managed care plans; by maintaining physician productivity with appropriate quality controls, we assist hospital clients bidding effectively for managed care business, thus ensuring both groups' success.
AISI also provides compliant and revenue-enhancing coding to hospitals for their facility fees, ensuring that the hospital is appropriately reimbursed for nursing, procedure, and faciltiy costs.
A recognized industry leader, AISI will bill more than one million emergency patients for ECI-affiliated limited liability partnerships this fiscal year. Since its inception in 1998, AISI has coded and billed over 11 million visits.
