Does the hospital have any control over the hiring of physicians?
Acceptance of physician candidates ultimately rests with the hospital, the Medical Director, and ECI’s Regional Director. We will comply with your hospital’s policies for credentialing and interviewing. ECI will present to the hospital only those physicians who have met all of the preset selection criteria of the hospital, as well as our Primary Source Verification program which satisfies The Joint Commission standards.
