HCI Restructures Leadership to Promote Growth

In response to the expanding opportunities in Hospital Medicine, Hospitalists Consultants, Inc. (HCI) is restructuring its organization to maximize growth by integrating the sales, staffing, and program marketing functions. HCI is confident that these changes will allow growth in areas that are best for the company.
In support of these changes, HCI will begin operating under the following organizational structure:
Sarah Pfeil will serve as Vice President of HCI. In this role, Ms. Pfeil will be responsible for overall daily operations of HCI. Ms. Pfeil will continue to administer financial data analysis and provide leadership and guidance to practice management services. Additionally, she will take the lead role in new business development.

Terry Vandercook

Terry Vandercook has been promoted to Executive Director of HCI, with a focus on staffing, new business development, and program marketing. As Executive Director, Vandercook will oversee all staffing functions and manage new business development efforts. Through dynamic program marketing campaigns, Vandercook will promote local program growth at all HCI-affiliated facilities.
“HCI is poised to meet the exploding demand for outstanding physician services in specialty of Inpatient Medicine,” says Mr. Randy N. Howell, Chief Operating Officer for HCI. “Terry, Sarah, and the entire HCI team, are ready to meet our client needs.”
